Ninetydown Aluminium e-bike motor guards are designed to protect your e-bike motor from impact. The full aluminium construction ensures they are light weight yet strong enough to withstand heavy impacts.
The design allows the motor to maintain airflow so there is no danger of your motor overheating.
Our guards are strong enough to withstand heavy impacts however they are designed so that with enough force they will deform. This feature is necessary to redirect force away from the frame.
A motor guard should be seen as a consumable part, once it has done it's job and saved your motor if it is compromised in any way you should replace it. Depending on how hard you ride will determine how long the guard lasts.
No matter which way you look at it, it’s a far cheaper option than a new motor.
